Dutch Bros

2.2.22

The Dutch Bros origin story is all about small beginnings. Started by two brothers with a dream, a cart and some beans in Grants Pass, Oregon, it has risen to be the fastest-growing coffee chain in North America. It earned huge press when going public top of 2022 marking 30 years for this brand from a small town. So much to talk about and also time to celebrate…

But of course, no stay in Nashville would be right without getting a night out on Broadway, so we took over the Wildhorse Saloon, canvassed it in digital animations from the Dutch Bros anniversary theme and held a private concert for Dutch with Nathaniel Rateliff and the Nightsweats.

But the party wasn’t over in Nashville. In Grants Pass we would look back to that origin story of two brothers back in ’92. During that time Pearl Jam was what Travis Boersma built this brand to, so it was time Eddie Vedder come through and say hi to a little town in Southern Oregon. Since Pearl Jam wasn’t touring, but Eddie still came with his band the Earthlings, alongside another 90’s rock icon, drummer Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. No that’s not me ;)

Needless to say, Grants Pass got its face rocked off in the smallest venue anyone could hope to see an icon in, the quaint Historic Rogue Theatre.

The celebration would begin in Nashville, being the home of its latest and furthest East shop, and then end in Grants Pass, where it all began. In Nashville, there would be a lot to cover, so we created a homebase for daytime programming with a. stage setup at the original Grand Ole Opry, the Historic Ryman. Knowing breaks and team building would be needed, we treated attendees to a myriad of mini-experiences from recording in famous studios throughout Music City to making their own famous Goo Goo Cluster.
